School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): 85% of 4th and 5th grade students report on the BSD survey that they feel safe, welcomed and accepted at school.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Implement strong multi-tiered systems of support for students' behavioral and social-emotional needs.

Action: Kindness in the Classroom (KIC) Consistency As A Tier 1 Support in Our K-5 Classrooms

Timeline: all year through classroom and school-wide instruction

Strategic Plan Strategy: Research-based systematic balanced literacy components including phonics and phonemic awareness curriculum and instruction.
